This design project presents a speculative vision of Vilnius in the year 2100. It explores how the city could evolve into a self-sustaining, technologically advanced metropolis shaped by innovation, renewable energy, and “Giga-factory” development.
The concept is visualized through a holographic projection using recycled materials, a tablet, and a triple-screen setup to create an illusion of depth. Graphic communication includes animated maps, geometric icons, and a synthesized voiceover.
Key themes:
– Solar collectors covering rooftops and public spaces
– Hydro turbines on the Neris River and fiber-carbon wind turbines
– Hyper-fast transport systems and smart infrastructure
– Utopian fusion of green zones and urbanism
– Robotized industries, genetic labs, and expanding airports
The project combines utopian imagination with critical reflection on energy, pollution, mobility, and urban expansion.
